Sailing Canvas

Been down to Circular Quay this week? If you have then you'd have noticed the iconic sails of the Sydney Opera House have been transformed into a canvas of light and art. As part of Vivid Sydney, the Opera House will be lit up from 5:30-10:30 each evening with colour and design by Vivid Live co-curator Laurie Anderson.

ANZAC Day

In recent years ANZAC Day has probably surpassed Australia Day as the most significant day in the Australian calendar. ANZAC Day commemorates the Australian and New Zealand Army's Corps (ANZAC) landing at the Galipoli Peninsular in Turkey during the First World War.

Show What?

There's nothing quite as bizarre as Sydney's Royal Easter Show. What's a "Show" I hear you ask. Well, let's just say it's hard to define. Imagine a showcase of the finest breading bulls in Australia, high-diving pigs, a car eating machine called Robosaurus and a selection of Sydney's best home-cooked scones all set amongst a huge sideshow at the Sydney Olympic Park. Sound's like fun doesn't it?
