World's Largest Short Film Festival
posted by Murray on 19 Feb 2010
Tropfest is so massive these days! The World's Largest Short Film Festival has not only outgrown it's home venue, it's packing 7 other landmark public spaces across the country. This Sunday the 16 short films finalist will be broadcast to over 150,000 people watching live.

In Sydney, The Domain will play host to the main event which has turned into one of Sydney's favorite picnic events. Gates open at 12 noon with entertainment on the main stage from 1pm. There's a whole host of things planned to keep you focused for the main attraction when the finalists are screened at 7:30pm.

If you're still not convinced, check out the Tropfest Trailer on YouTube. Thodore Livingston's story is one of courage amongst the backdrop of modern life - or maybe it's just a big fat ad. You be the judge!

Grab a rug, BBQ Chook and a couple of paper plates and find yourself a piece of grass on Sydney's favorite park- you're in for a special cultural Sydney treat!
