Is there anything more Australian than surfing? Sure it was imported by Hawaiian Duke Kahanamoko in 1915 but since then Australia has had a love affair with surfing, and surfing has undeniable loved Australia back.

Since it's conception as a competitive sport, Australia's have won 14 of the last 30 World Surfing Titles including the reigning title holder, Mick Fanning. The first round of the Association of Professional Surfers (ASP) World Championship Tour kicked off this week on the Gold Coast.
