Summer Cinema by Moonlight
posted by Murray on 23 Feb 2010
Summer days in Sydney seemingly last forever; early sunrises, long warm days followed by a glowing twilight. When the sun finally sets there's no need to head indoors, in fact, stay at the park and wind down Sydney style and make the day even longer.

Moonlight Cinema is one of Sydney's best "wind-downs" and runs Tuesday through Sunday until 14 March at the Belverdere Amphitheater, Centennial Park. You can catch new release films or classics such as The Blues Brothers or Breakfast at Tiffany's. If you want to see the classics in this manicured lawn setting you'd be best to book as they tend to draw the crowds with that old school community cinema feel.

Thinking of bringing that special someone? Upgrade your ticket to "Gold Grass" and you'll be cooler than Napoleon Dynamite kicking back on your Bean Bed, glass of wine in hand on the best piece of grass in the house. It's the perfect place to throw an arm over you're loved one and get cosy under the stars.

This Week at Moonlight Cinema:
Tuesday 23 February - Slumdog Millionaire
Wednesday 24 February - Paranormal Activity
Thursday 25 February - Nowhere Boy
Friday 26 February - Old Dogs
Saturday 27 February - Tooth Fairy
Sunday 28 February - CLOSED
