Shoot The Player

Sick of the highly polished razzle dazzle film clips of the music industry? If you're into grassroots organic production, you've got to check out Shoot The Player. Shoot the Player is an online experiment in spontaneous music performance, guerilla filmmaking and local discovery. All things we love at Off Campus.

Imaging strolling through a harbourside park and stumbling across a spontaneous sing-a-long with Ben Lee and a gaggle of schoolgirls. Maybe you'd be more into watching Soko drifting through Clovelly Graveyard singing "It's Not Going To Work" or Holly Throsby belting out a tune on a Piano in Centennial Park on an audience of one dog and it's owner. There's a bunch of one-off performances that have been masterfully captured and uploaded for your listening pleasure.

This is a really cool project and those that love their music like their muesili, raw and with plenty of fruit, you're going to dig it. Check it out Shoot The Player
