An ancient Chinese proverb suggests that “Sweet Sour Bitter Pungent – All must be tasted”. Why not give the proverb a literal test at the Night Noodle Markets when they kick off this Monday 12 October.
One of the highlights of the Sydney International Food Festival, the Night Noodle Markets at Hyde Park draw huge crowds into the city to taste the joys and variety of Asian cuisine.
The re-creation of an authentic hawker style market in the heart of Sydney is complete with Asian inspired entertainment. Tuck into some of the best noodles and other Asian dishes that Sydney restaurants have to offer. Be bold, be adventurous, taste sweet, sour, bitter and pungent. If the spice gets a little hot or you just need a mouth rinse, check into the Coopers Beer Garden for a soothing cold Pale Ale from one of Australia’s best family brewers. The Beer Garden will be littered with Hill’s Hoists and retro yard furnishing – a little piece of Australia in case you forget where you are.
The Night Noodle Market runs week nights in Hyde Park from 12-23 October.
