The St Jerome's Laneway Festival might have packed up for southern cities but London based nu-folk band Mumford and Son's are sticking around for a couple of special side shows at the Oxford Arts Factory.
Australia’s love affair with the London purveyors of “nu-folk” began with a song called ‘Little Lion Man’. Man-crushes, love-lorn sighs and total infatuation ensued as Australia embraces the new folk with open arms. Now it’s time to meet the band of our dreams in the flesh and dance with abandon. Given the band’s meteoric rise to the top of the Australian consciousness, this will be a rare opportunity to catch them in an intimate environment. (Liveguide.com.au)
