No doubt you're intimately familiar with local watering hole Scruffy Murphy's, and have sampled their wares in the wee hours of the morning. However, you might not have known that they are also notrious for one of Sydney's cheapest eats.
Drop by a little earlier than usual and you can grab a beaut steak for just $6.95. You've got to purchase a schooner of Tooheys or glass of housewine to get the deal, but hey, you were going to do that anyway right? What's better than a cold beer and a medium rare slab of beef?
We ripped into the Rump with Diane and decent serving of fries but go the mash if you want to add a solid lining to the gut before a nights drinks. Bargin hunters be warned, if you do go and eat there, the nightly drink specials are that good that you might end up dropping another 50 bucks on booze and walking out at 3am. In some kind of Murphy's Law remember, cheap food and cheap booze, doesn't always equal a cheap night.
